You haven’t heard from me in a while, but I’ve been
hard at work on The Chief, the first book
in my new Highland Guard Series, available in stores March
23, 2010.
Books two and three (The Hawk and The
Ranger)
will follow in August and December.
The Highland Guard is a group of elite warriors hand-picked by Robert
Bruce to help him in his quest to free Scotland from English rule.
They are the best of the best, chosen for their superior skills in
each discipline of warfare. Book one belongs to Tor MacLeod, first
chief of Clan MacLeod, reputed to be the greatest warrior of his
age. (For readers of Highlander Untamed,
he is the great grandfather of Rory six times over.)
